We're Mark and Kendal, Co-owners of Nani Moco Studios.
We started this studio because we believe good ideas deserve the chance to become something real.
Whether it's an animated short film, a commercial, an explainer or something that doesn't quite fit into a category yet, we work closely with our clients to understand the idea behind the project and find the right way to bring it to life through animation.
As a 2D animation studio, we keep the process personal, collaborative and flexible. You work directly with us, from the early stages of development through to the final frame.
Based in Canada and working with clients internationally, we're here to help creative ideas get off the ground.
None of this happens alone. Every project comes together with the support of a wider team of artists and production staff who help bring each idea across the finish line.

The Process
From First Idea to Final Frame
You don't need to know everything about animation before you start. We'll work with you to understand the project, establish what needs to be created and build a production process around it.
Discover
We start with a conversation. We learn about your idea, goals, audience, creative direction, timeline and budget.
Develop
We shape the creative direction. Story, design, characters, visual language and the overall approach begin to take form.
Plan
We turn the idea into a production plan. Storyboards, layouts, production schedules and the details needed to move the project forward.
Animate
This is where the project comes to life. Rigging, animation, backgrounds, effects and all the moving pieces come together.
Finish
We bring everything together. Compositing, editing, sound, revisions and final delivery.

Keeps the animation pipeline organized and productions running smoothly from start to finish.
